Welcome to Worldly 🌎 🆚 Godly✨ This is a 3️⃣0️⃣-day series that is going to take you through two very separate ideas that are constantly battling against each other. This is a tough topic and something we all struggle noticing throughout our days. We are going to establish the line between what we hear and see in our daily life compared to God’s words in the bible. 📈
Everything is going to be set up by having one perspective 🆚. the other. Topics on the left are going to be examples of things of this world. Topics on the right are going to be things that are of God. I want you to encourage you to shift your thoughts from the left side of worldly things into a mind that is set on the things that are from God. Left 🆚 Right.
I believe by the end of this series you will be able to recognize that the world says one thing and God says the exact opposite🔁. This is why who and what you surround yourself with has a direct effect on who you become. What you hear, see, and do reflects on some part of your life whether you recognize it or not. We are complex people, we need to have our guards up when it comes to fighting off the messages this world is trying to offer us. 👊🏼
I challenge you to self-evaluate your life, your choices, and your actions based off of every topic we cover. Be honest with yourself about how you perceive your daily life compared to how God wants us to go about our daily lives. Put yourself in a place to receive anything God has for you this month. ✝️
VERSE OF THE MONTH📍
Colossians 3:2
“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
DAY 1
DEFINITIONS‼️
Worldly 🌍 🆚 Godly✨
Worldly (earthly) things we SEE day-to-day right in front of us. 👀 The things of this world are the messages that society reveals to us, whether that’s in people, experiences, or the feeling we get when we see, hear, or act upon our flesh desires.
Godly (heavenly) things means to have faith, which is, trusting in the UNSEEN. Things that we don’t have right in front of us. These are the messages that are harder to recognize because they have become blurred and drowned out by society. This is the side that focuses on the things God says to give us hope in the broken world we live in. He is our hope. 🌟
DAY 2
PREPARE YOURSELF. 💭
My mindset 🚫 🆚 Kingdom mindset 🧠
Kingdom mindset is setting your mind on the thought that God is in ultimate reign, and you have no control over the things that happen. When you wake up in the morning you never know what you are waking up to. You don’t know what is going to happen today, let alone tomorrow. Leave it in His hands. Surrender it all to the one who is ultimately in control. 🙌🏼
More than ever in the past few months we have seen how we have no control over the things we have to do (masks) 😷 or the things we want to do (all our canceled plans🗓). God is able to do anything in our lives and we have very little say about what He decides to do. The choice we do have is to give our life, our everyday, and our every moment to the only one who is capable of changing any situation. Today set your mentality on the fact that God has a plan and purpose for you. No matter what we go through God is still in control.
Song Suggestion: 🔊
Still in Control By: Jesus Culture or Mack Brock
Psalms 46: 1-3
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.”
Whatever you may be struggling with in this season know that God will forever reign on his throne. He is our shelter, our protection, our stronghold when times are tough.
Ask God to be with you today. 💪🏼 Ask Him to be with you in the struggle, the hurt, the trials. He is here. He is present. He is for you. Believe that with all your heart. No matter how terrible things are looking in our world today, God is above it all. Leave your mindset behind and pick up a kingdom mindset that is from the Lord today. 🧠
DAY 3
THE BATTLEFIELD🥊
Wounded 🆚 Healing
Let’s be honest with ourselves today. We are wounded, we have been hurt. Maybe you even get hurt by this life daily, whether that’s in any kind of relationship with people, when you get rejected, or when you are told NO. 🤦🏻♀️Our past may bring out that hurt we are experiencing.
One of my most favorite quotes is “Sometimes you need to be broken to be built.” This is so true for our lives. Maybe you have already been broken and you are still picking up pieces, but even crazier, maybe you need to ask God to break you so that you can rebuilding or start building again. 🤯 The time is now! We are not promised tomorrow, but with God we are promised eternity.
It is okay to admit that you are hurt. Admit that to God today. Confess that hurt, pain, or struggle you are in today. Surrendering is not a weakness. Then let the healing process begin!🙌🏼
Be open to healing. You have to want healing and admit that you need it before you receive it. Healing symbolizes new beginnings whether that is physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual healing. Jesus Christ is our healer, provider, and protector. ✝️
James 5:16
“Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

DAY 4
MY PURPOSE
Live Life Going Through the Motions 🆚 Live A Life of Purpose 🌿
❔Do you ever feel like you are just going through the motions of life? Are you constantly doing the things that are required of you? Just taking care of your responsibilities in a mundane pattern over and over? OR Do you wake up in the morning excited for what the day is going to bring? Are you looking for the blessings in your life? Are you living with a purpose?
Romans 8:28
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
❕We can’t go through the motions. Our schedules and plans may try to weigh us down and distract us, but don’t you know God has a greater purpose for you? ❕
⚠️Ask God to show you your purpose in this season. Stop wasting another moment making decisions that are drawing you further away from the things God says. You have purpose. You are meant to walk in purpose and in truth.

DAY 5
ETHICS
Wrong❌ 🆚 Right✅
More and more the world tells us the things that are wrong are right, and the things that are right are wrong🤷🏻♀️. The world is allowing laws, beliefs, and standards that were once wrong to be right. The world is steering us away from the things that God says is right and the things God says is wrong. One thing remains right and true despite whatever we are being influenced by. The word of God will forever remain right. ✅
💬I challenge you today to ask yourself, what are you allowing to influence your decisions?
Are you spending more time watching the news or reading you bible? What are you choosing to let into your life? When you need information from a source what are you looking at? Are you looking for the opinion of someone else or do you go right to the Bible and get your answers from the book of truth?
Let your political, relational, and personal, views be based off of the word of God. Stand firm in what the Bible says. God’s word is living.
James 1:14-15
“But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.”
Day 6
PEACE IN THE STORM ⛈
Anxiety🤞🏼 🆚 Peace ✌🏼
John 16:33
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
God knows our struggles. This world is moving closer to trouble every day, that’s why we need to take heart. Taking heart means being courageous and fearless in all that you do. 💙
Everyone has experienced a drop of anxiety at some point. As humans I think we all have that in common. This world likes to steal our peace. We allow our minds to spiral out of control into “what-if situations” and we tend to think about the most horrible outcome every time.
Let me reassure you today that our God has overcome any anxious thoughts that may be trying to steal your peace. Our God is a God of peace. If you don’t have peace about it, it’s not from God. ✌🏼The world is trying to steal our peace. Don’t let it happen.
One of the most powerful things you can do is call yourself out when you are having anxious thoughts and mentally tell yourself “In the name of Jesus may these anxious thoughts be gone.” Cast it out in the name of Jesus! That name is more powerful than anything. Let God take over and take those thoughts out! ⚠️
I encourage you today to acknowledge the things you are thinking about, are they bringing you peace or discomfort? If it is from God it will bring you peace. Follow peace and rid the anxiety. ➡️

Day 7
FRIEND FRENZY🚻
Quantity📊 🆚 Quality📈
The world tries to tell us the more people around you, the more things you have surrounding you, and the more you got going on around you, the more you matter. With God this will never be true.
Today the “popular” thing to be is “popular”. Who gets to decide what “popular” is ? The world tries to make us strive to get as many likes on Instagram and as many views on Tik Tok as we can. That satisfying notification feeling will never truly satisfy. ❌
If we are trying to be more like Jesus here on earth, why are we striving to get man’s approval with a like button or a follow?
Galatians 1:10
“Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
Taking a look at who Jesus was, he had 12 followers, yes 12. The world tries to tell us we need to have hundreds and thousands of followers, but the quality of 12 is much greater than the quantity of many. 💯
Along with that, people you choose to spend your time with have an enormous impact on your identity, values, goals and growth. In this video, Pastor Lee Cummings explores why strong, healthy, godly relationships are a crucial part of your Christian walk. ⬇️
Day 8
I LIKE IT 😍
Lust💔🆚 Love ❤️
True love comes from God and God's love is like no other. If you haven’t experienced Gods love, you don’t know what true love is. We try to find love in other things rather than the love of God. God is love.❤️
1 John 4:7-18
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.”
Nowadays we tend to lust over the things we want. Most the time the things we want aren’t the things we need. We are blinded by all the lustful thoughts based off of the things we see on social media, take of the blindfold and start understanding why you like the content you like. What is the root of that desire that keeps you wanting more?
Along with that, love is a powerful word that we tend to use it out of context. Be careful how you use the word love and how often you use it. Are you lusting over someone/something? Or are you loving the way God intended it? 🤔

Day 9
LET’S RACE🏁
Separation☝🏼 🆚 Unity🤞🏼
We are to unite.🤝
For you are all in Christ Jesus, you should see all men and women equally for their hearts. All colors, races, ethnicities, and genders matter to God, therefore they should matter to us. He loves them equally, so we are to love them equally. God intended it to be like this.
Galatians 3:28
“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male of female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
We are to love. ❤️
Love with a open mind, open heart, open eyes, and treat all those around you with compassion. We are to love one another no matter what.
1 John 4:19-21
“We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us the command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother or sister.”
“If we claim to love God but hate our brother, we’re flat out liars—Johns words, not mine”
-Andi Andrew
In heaven there is going to be people of different color, different languages, different looks so if we can’t accept them here how are we going to accept them there? It matters now.❤️👱🏾♀️👨🏿🧑🏼👩🏽👧🏻❤️
Day 10
HIT THE WEIGHTS🏋🏻
Weak 🆚 Strong💪🏼
Nowadays being fit is considered:
1. “Skinny”
2. Abs
3. Muscles
4. Hourglass figure
5. Much More (I think you get it)
I want to reassure you today that these are just outward appearances👀 and God never looks at those qualities, He looks at the heart. ❤️It’s okay if you aren’t the most fit person, but I encourage you today to stay healthy for your body and stay healthy in your faith.✝️
Realizing the purpose behind the actions you do will help you understand how you are bringing glory to God in all you do. Athletically, it may be going to the gym, playing sports, training for a race.🏃🏻 But even in our daily lives its important to realize that what you do with your body, hands, and posture, can bring glory to God. Even household tasks, as simple as washing the dishes, folding the towels in the dryer, or making dinner brings glory to God. 🙌🏼
1 Corinthians 10:31
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
Allowing people to see your faith in the things you do daily is important. How are you representing who God is in your day-to-day deeds? How are you bringing Him glory?
Active Faith Bible Plan👇🏼

Day 11
WISDOM👤
Confusion 🤔 🆚 Clarity
We live in a world that is full of confusion. The enemy is constantly trying to confuse us, distract us, and lie to us.🚫
The world tries to confuse you. When you know the right thing to do it is so much easier to do the wrong thing. Be strong, be wise. Make it clear to the devil that he has no place in your life. He has no power over the calling God has declared over you.
John 15:19 ESV
“If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”
⚠️If you listen to the things of this world, you will find yourself confused, lonely, and unfulfilled. Jesus is the exact opposite of that. Jesus Christ gives us clarity and understanding. God has called us out of this world. He gives us a purpose and identity that is not found in temporary things.⚠️
Start focusing your eyes on the God who is going to give you 20/20 vision. 👀 The God who is going to help you see clearly. Start making decisions based off of wisdom, discernment, and knowledge rather than feelings, emotions, and pleasures.
Day 12
REACHING AND ACHIEVING🥇
Success🏆 🆚 Significance💯
Everyone defines success differently, and success looks different to everyone. My question today is:
How is success defined in society?
Today society defines a successful person by material and idolized things such as:
Money💵
Carrers💼
Cars🚘
Awards🏅
House🏡
Husband/ Wife👩❤️👨
Children👩👧👧
Pets🐶
Entertainment 🛥
Technology📱
Clothing/Shoes👟
1 John 2:15-17 ESV
“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.”
Matthew 16:26
“What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?”
🗯How do you define success? What does success look like to you?
Day 13
WATCH MY WORDS 💬
Curses🙊 🆚 Crosses✝️
Swearing/cursing/cussing (whatever you call it) has become normalized in our culture today. This is what the Bible says about that.
Ephesians 4:29
“Do not let unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”

Day 14
ALL THINGS RELATIONAL💗
Impurity 🆚 Purity
The world tells us it is okay to have sex before marriage and that it is okay to date as if you are already married. Temptation always tries to creep into our romantic relationships because society tell us that kind of temptation is good.
1 Corinthians 6:18
“Flee form sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.”
God created us to be with only one partner, and that partner is the one that you marry. 💍God wants us to practice purity for our own benefit. He set the boundaries for us because He wants to see us thrive in our relationships. It is important to protect your heart, minds, and souls. ❤️🧠
We live in a time where relationships are defined by the things that everyone else doing. Michael Todds Relationship Goals Reloaded Series takes us back to the basics of all types of relationships and he instructs us with biblical references of how our relationships should be.📖 Throughout a 10 Part series (besides Spontaneous worship and Racial Reconciliation) he covers singleness, dating, marriage, sex, soul-ties, and much more! Part 1 to this series is below! I strongly encourage you to make your way through these lessons on how God created our relationships to be!

Day 15
SABBATH PRACTICE 💤
Tired😴 🆚 Awake🤩
It seems like we are all tired nowadays. We are constantly yawning, napping, and complaining about lack of sleep. 🥱 We load up our schedules on weekdays and weekends and then wonder why we are feeling fatigued.
Matthew 11:28-29
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
One of God’s promises is rest. 🙌🏼 He knows you need it. Heck God rested after creating this world, He knew He needed rest and he wants us to rest as well. He is a humble God, He rested, and we need to as well! He says “you will find rest for your souls.” Is your soul at rest? Are you allowing yourself to rest?🤔
There is great importance in setting a day or a period of time aside in your week to reset and refocus. Our minds, our bodies, and our lives are constantly thinking, moving, and changing. We are allowed to slow it down by get our priorities taken care of and then rest.😴 Resting could be taking a nap, having a family meal (where everyone takes a part in the cooking and cleaning), reading a book, going on a walk etc. This is where you do anything that will not cause you stress, and allows you to destress. This is a time for you to relax amongst the business of life. God created Sabbath for us because He knew we needed it. 🙏🏼
By taking time and allowing ourselves to rest we will be able to be rejuvenated and restored for our days ahead. Amen! 🤩
Day 16
THE STYLE 👑
Hottest 🔥 🆚 Modest 👚👕
❌This is the lie that is fed to us: “flaunt it if you got it”❌
God knows your are beautifully made, so why are you trying to prove it to others? You need to accept it for yourself that you are beautiful, you were made perfectly how you are. You owe this world and people on IG nothing, you owe God everything...besides, He’s the one who made you YOU. 🥰
Set yourself apart from the crowd how God would want you to. By this I mean don’t try to dress the part and look like the rest of the crowd. 👥
Are you setting yourself apart in this world? Do people know that you are different? Are you showing your faith in your actions? Is that a outfit you would stand in front of God in?
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor your God with your bodies.”
☝🏼We are suppose to protect our bodies. We are to be pure and holy in the way that we use our bodies. We are all called to honor God with our bodies. ✝️
It has become normal for us to show off our best looks on social media, it is normal for people to know the “good” qualities our bodies have without even seeing us in person. God called our whole being good, certain parts of us as not suppose to be better than others because there is more there compared to someone else...THATS A LIE. ❗️Stop wanting things that other people have, you were CREATED (not just made, but created) by the creator. You are perfectly and uniquely you, not created to be like someone else. ❕
Don’t be a temptation to those around you. Your body and the clothes you wear is suppose to be a representation of a temple, not a temptation.💯
Think about your closest are you honoring the Lord with the clothing you are wearing? Think about the photo you have of yourself or have posted of yourself, are you allowing others to see that you are honoring God with your body❔
Day 17
ARE YOU FULL?
Mentally Drained 🤕 🆚 Spiritually Filled 💫
What are you consuming? Are you fellowshipping more with ESPN, the news, or social media more than you are fellowshipping with the Lord?
That fellowshipping time can simply be inviting the Lord into your day, listening to worship music, giving yourself some silent time etc. Acknowledging God’s presences is fellowshipping. Let's give God the time He deserves everyday, He deserves it all.
The things you may be consuming are just numbing you from things like loneliness, your fears, or discontentment. When you are filled up with the Holy Spirit you are growing closer with the Lord and leaving the numbing behind.
Think of as glass of water, you can pour into it and you can pour out of it. What is pouring into you and what are you pouring out? If your glass is empty, what do you have left to pour out? You need to be spiritually filled up and then able to pour that filling into others. Fill your cup until it overflows into the lives of others. Don’t drain yourself so much that you start draining others.
Acts 4:31
“After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”

Day 18
HI HI HIGH 🌱
Stoned 🗿🆚 Steady🧖🏻
It is no surprise that weed is such a huge temptation and desire of today’s society. Many people will try to justify smoking weed by saying it was created by God, so that means it is meant for us to consume.🧐🤨
Don’t be fooled by this mindset because in the beginning God created the tree of knowledge of good and evil and commanded Adam not to eat from it. After Adam sinned, God said to him in Genesis 3: 17-18, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, “You must not eat from it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.”
This proves to us that not everything God created was meant to be consumed in the manner in which we choose to consume it. God created things that are suppose to be poisonous, therefore we are not suppose to allow it into our bodies. ☠️
1 Peter 5:8
“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
1 Corinthians 6:12
“All things are lawful for me”, but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be enslaved by anything.
If we really think about why a large majority of people smoke weed, it is to help with anxiety, depression, or even in many cases identity issues. I want to encourage you to find your safe haven and restoration in God, and to not turn to what the world tells us will heal us. Weed is a setback. Think about your goals...is that bringing you closer to the goals you have for yourself? God can give you more peace, relief from the world, and joy, ** Eternally** than weed WILL ever or CAN ever bring you.
Think of weed as a band-aid, the band-aid isn’t going to hold forever. But God is everlasting and he will strengthen you and guide you through your struggles.
Written with Azia Barnett!
Day 19
MORE...➕
Getting 💸 🆚 Giving🤲🏼
More. We always want more. As humans we never feel like we ever have as much as we want. We are constantly consuming more and more. If we are honest with ourselves maybe we have too much.
The Widow’s Offering Bible Story
Mark 12: 41-44
“Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offering were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow had put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything-- all she has to live on.”
Ask yourself today, are you spending more time trying to get more of whatever you can? Or are you giving more than you can? Are you giving God all you have? Or are you trying to get as much from God as you can?
How much are you consuming? Do you give more or consume more?
Day 20
YOU ARE WORTHY 💎
Worthless 😔🆚 Valuable😇
The world tells us we need to be, tall, smart, funny, “pretty”, athletic yet artsy, musically talented, and much more.
It is important for you to know that God made you to be you and nobody else. Don’t try to be anyone other than the person God created you to be. You are valuable, you are capable, you are honorable. You are worthy.💟
Today people like Jeff Bezos (Amazon) and Bill Gates (Microsoft) have a net worth of about 100+ BILLION dollars💵. Net worth is the value that a person owns. They may own billions but you can’t put a dollar amount on the worth of someone. In Gods eyes we are all WORTH more than we can fathom. We are his valuable children. 👨👧👦
God loves us all evenly. There is no worth placed higher on someone else's life than another.
Psalms 139: 13-14
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; you works are wonderful. I know that full well.”
There are so many people in the world, but you make a difference and God perfectly placed you here for a reason.
Day 21
WHAT PATH ARE YOU ON?
Lost 🚧 🆚 Guided🚦
Take some time today to think about the path you are on. ⚠️ Think of it this way, the path that you make for yourself and the influence of the things you hear, say, and do represent the gravel path, the path that is un-sturdy, unclear, and rough🚧. But then there is a pathed path prepared for you that is sturdy, firm, smooth, and secure, this is the path God has for you. 🌟 Everyday you get the choice to decide where you want to walk. I encourage you today to walk out the plan God has prepared for your life. Align your days, choices, and your actions with the understanding that with God you will never be steered in the wrong direction on your path. 🚦
Jesus is our guide throughout this life through each day. Choose to be guided by him daily. 🙏🏼
Self-evaluate yourself today and think about your foundation, are you walking on the gravel or on the pavement, maybe you are trying to combine the two and walk on the pavement and gravel at the same time, be honest with yourself and make a commitment to yourself about where you want to be and what it is you are going to do to get there. 💪🏼
Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Day 22
I Need A Drink🥂
Drunk🍺 🆚 Sober 🧃
“We live for the weekend” is a message you see from most people nowadays.
Drinking to get drunk has become something that is normal.
Why has drinking alcohol become so normalized? Not just drinking, but getting drunk. Why do we do it? What gives us the desire to get drunk?
It is the feeling you get when you get a little buzzed? Is it the feeling you get when you think you are having a good time? Keep in mind, that’s a feeling, (...we don’t make impulse choices off of what we feel in the moment as Christians, we make decisions based off of God granted wisdom.) 🧠Be real with yourself about the choices you make and what God says about them. 🗣
You should be sober enough to drive yourself home and be conscious of your decisions. ⚠️ Whatever the legal limit to blow is, you should be well under that. Don’t push the limit, don’t try to get as close to the fine line as you can, because that fine line is thin, if you are getting close to it your basically falling into it. ⚠️
God ALWAYS has his eye on you. 👀 He sees you in every moment, every action, every choice. You need to make the decision that is best for you rather than being under the influence of those around you or under the influence of alcohol. If Jesus was in the room would you be doing it? If the answer is even slightly no you probably shouldn’t be doing it. He’s got something so much better for you than the things that others think would be best for you. 🎉
Drunkenness is a sin. We are bombarded daily with messages that tell us getting drunk is okay, God says it is not. Putting ourself in that position is setting us up to fall into more temptation and even more sin because of the mindset that alcohol gives. Leave that behind and be of sober mind. 😇
1 Peter 4:7
“The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.”
Day 23
THE NOISE 🎶
Secular🔇 🆚 Holy🔊
Let’s talk today about the music we listen to. There are several different genres like, rock, pop, country, the 80’s, the 90’s, and the most prominent in todays culture, rap , hip hop, and today’s hits. 💯
What are you allowing into your life to influence you? 🤷🏻♀️ A large majority of the music we hear today includes cursing, drugs, profanity, sexual slurs. We need to be people who steer away from that, not gravitate towards it just because of the beat. I hope we all realize the secular message those songs are trying to send you. The more you hear it the more you will want to act upon it.🚸
Evaluate you personal music choices today. 🎧 What are you letting your ears hear? Would you speak those words in front of God? If not, why are you letting them into your life? 🚨
I challenge you to listen music that fills your soul. Try turning on the Christian radio station for a week and open yourself to the messages of the music. When we worship and praise Jesus we are lifting our voices to Him, just as if He were standing before us on the throne.🙌🏼
Mark 4:24 ESV
“And he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use it, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you.”
Day 24
FOODIE 🍽
Full 🆚 Empty
The world tells us to eat until we are full and until our stomachs are satisfied, but what about our spirits?
We are allowed to eat as much as we want and whenever we want to.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 KJV
“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
Pray without ceasing means that we are to pray without end. Relating this to food, we are suppose to give thanks for the food we are eating. I sense often that as a body of people we tend to fail at thanking the Lord for the food on our plates daily. If we are eating three times a day we should be forever grateful to God who is providing that nourishment to our bodies. 🍞🛒
This leads us right into fasting, since we are told we can eat anything as much of it as we want. Fasting is symbolic to empty yourself physically so that you can be filled spiritually. 🙏🏼 Being without food you tend to think about how often you truly do think about food. I challenge you to take a day where you dedicate the day to the Lord and have the mentality that you want God more than you want food. Besides, God is what we need to nourish our souls. Every time you think about food or eating you pray about whatever it may be that God is laying in your heart. ❤️
Matthew 6:25
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?”
Day 25
AFTER SHOWER FEELING 🚿
Conform ⚛️ 🆚 Renewed ✴️
Romans 12:2
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-- his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
God renews our minds every morning. His mercies are new every morning. What a good God we serve! 🙏🏼
Todays title AFTER SHOWER FEELING🚿, refers to the parallelism behind getting a shower and getting baptized. 🤍 You see, everytime we step into the shower we are sweaty, dirty, and stinky, but we shower to be cleaned and renewed. Just like getting baptized by the Holy Spirit, baptism represents us leaving behind our old ways and publicly committing our life to the Lord. We are then submerged and made new. Daily we need to let the Holy Spirit into our lives to renew and restore us for the day. 😇
Let it wash over you. Today I challenge you to allow Jesus into your life every morning. Invite him into your day and wait and see what He will do! ✝️ Ask the Lord for His will to be done in your life.

Day 26
THE UNDERLYING LIE⚠️
Fearful 🛑 🆚 Fearless ✅
➡️Fear is a liar. Often times we have fears that we don’t even realize we have. You cannot recognize your fears if you are living in them. If you know your fears, don’t be content with them. Live fearless rather than in fear. The world injects fear, God injects hope.⬅️
What are you afraid of? Define this for yourself today (Here are some examples):
✖️Safety & protection
✖️What others will think about you-Rejection
✖️The future
✖️Snakes
✖️Public speaking
✖️Natural disasters
✖️Being confrontational
✖️Disease
✖️Abandonment
Does fear have a grip on your life? Here’s what to do about:
“Starve the fear.”
-Sadie Robertson
🔘Silence the fears in your life. Fears are not from God. If anything, God uses your fears to strengthen you. Fears are to make you strong, but to be strong you need to face the fear. He wants to grow you through the fears you may be facing.
“Overcoming fear means surrendering control.”
-Sadie Robertson
🔘Make the Lord of your life and the Lord of anything you may fear. The faith you have in God will always overpower the fear you have in things of this world.
“Say yes to whatever you are currently saying no to.”
-Sadie Robertson
🔘There is no growth in your comfort zone. Our fears push us way beyond the things we are comfortable with. The Bible says do not fear 365 times, thats a bible verse a day of Jesus Christ telling us to not fear!
Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Day 27
MONEY MONEY MONEY💰
Rich In Wealth 💵🆚 Rich In The Spirit💸
There are two types of riches. The world says being rich is having money, power, authority, and wealth. 💎 Jesus says all you need is Him. You cannot serve both. 🛑
Here are several verses from the bible about money: ⬇️⬇️
🔸Ecclesiastes 5:10
“Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too in meaningless.”
🔸1 Timothy 6:6-10
“Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierces themselves with many griefs.”
🔸Luke 16:13 & Matthew 6:24
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
🔹Our riches are not going to heaven with us, but being rich in the spirit will be with us for eternity. ♾ What would you do if you woke up tomorrow morning and all you had is what you thanked God for yesterday?
Day 28
THIS IS CHAOS🤯
Hurry ⏱🆚 Patience🤚🏼
As humans we get instant gratification from placing an order and getting it immediately. 💌Amazon has trained us to want our packages faster and faster and they provide that service. 🕗We have lost patience in today’s society. We want fast food, fast service, fast technology, fast cars, and everything as soon as we can get it.
Because we have this mentality we tend to hurry ourselves and are expected to be as productive and efficient as we can. We push ourselves to grind and hustle around to get everything we have to do done. Sometimes we don’t even realize how much of a hurry we are in. We hurry for no reason.
How long has it been since you came to a complete stop at a stop sign and spelled out S T O P in your head? 🛑
Too often we are in a rush to get to where we are going but we need to slow down or take a full stop and realize there is no reason to hurry. Jesus was never in a hurry so why should we be?
Slowing down and having more patience will bring you a peace you don’t even realize you are missing out on. We need to have patience in the Lord as well. God always does his will in his timing, not ours. ☮️
Psalm 37:7
“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him...”

Day 29
YOUR CHOICE
People 👥 🆚 Scripture📖
As we are coming to the end of this devotional series, there are several topics we still haven't covered! Matter of fact, HUGE topics such as:
👫Gay Marriage👬
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 ESV
“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”
Divorce💍
Luke 16:18 ESV
“Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.”
Living Together🛏
Hebrews 13:4 ESV
“Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.”
Abortion👶🏼
Psalm 139:13-16 ESV
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”
And more!
The best way to understand and have a Godly perspective on all these topics is to embrace the Creators ways, in the way he intended it to be. Jesus has given us the Bible to communicate with us and give us clarity in areas that sometimes might not be so clear. 📖 This should be our highest priority when our culture is flooding us with messages that are the exact opposite of what the God on the throne is telling us in His word.✝️
If you are curious on more about these topics check out this book suggestion, or just go straight to the word of God 😉.

Day 30 & Survey 📊
LIFESTYLE
Worldly 🌍 🆚 Godly✨
The things of this world are constantly trying to steal our joy and our peace. Allow yourself to be transformed by the renewal of your mind.
Colossians 3:2
"Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth."
Lets show this world it has on control over us, but our God has ALL the control over our lives! I leave you with this to conclude the month of October:
Titus 2:12-14
“It teaches us to say “No” to the ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in the present age, while we wait for the blessed hope--the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.”
